FAQ

  • How long will my sessions be?

A therapuetic hour is 50 minutes. If you’d like a longer session, we can discuss this more together. For folks who benefit from spending more time in the room processing, I may offer a 90-minute session for additional fees.

  • What do sessions cost?

I currently charge $150 per session. I have sliding scale applications available for those who can’t quite afford this session fee but would still like to benefit from therapy.

  • How do I pay for sessions?

You may connect a credit card to your confidential client portal. I also accept cash, Venmo, and Paypal.

  • Do you accept insurance?

I do not accept insurance. I am private pay only. I can offer clients a Superbill which you can submit to your insurance companies for partial reimbursement.

  • What is your availability?

I currently have a few openings left for new clients! I see clients Monday-Thursday between 9a-6pm and on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month between 9am-12pm.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

I request that you give a 24-hour notice if you need to change your scheduled appointment time. If that notice is not met, I do charge full fee for your session. I understand that life happens and will make exceptions under the right circumstances.

  • What age groups do you work with?

I have experience working with teens and young adults (ages 16-30+) but have seen folks beyond this age range. If you are human, you are welcome.

  • What is your typical client like?

I see clients with concerns surrounding depression, anxiety, trauma, religious deconstruction, LGBTQIA+ issues, and more.

  • How do I book my first session?

If you go to the Contact section of this site, you can fill out a form and I will reach out to you to schedule a consultation call. If it is a good fit, we will schedule our first session!

  • Do you meet with clients virtually and in-person?

I sure do! I meet with clients in my office in Donelson and also meet with clients who request a virtual platform.

  • Do I have to pay to park at your office?

    Nope! Parking is free :)
